Remote Locality Housing

Employees may package their GEHA or WASM rent.

Housing provided by the University to an employee in a remote locatlity, such as Kalgoorlie or Esperance, may package their fortnightly rent.

The savings (after packaging fees) that may be obtained through salary packaging this particular benefit is determined by your taxable income:

$6,001 to $30,000 - 14%
$30,001 to $75,000 - 30%
$75,001 to $150,000 - 40%
$150,001+ - 45%
